My key project, Echoia, visually represents the phenomenon of the fusion between humans and AI, offering audiences the opportunity to reconsider what digital identity is at the boundary between analog and digital. In this work, digital identity is not static but constantly reshaped and redefined by personal movements and interactions.
Through web-based and virtual environments, digital video, and installation work, I explore the fusion of analog and digital, connecting experiences between the virtual and real worlds and probing the boundaries of these spaces through media projects.

Soobeen Woo is a media artist based in Bremen, Germany. Her work examines the fluidity of identity at the intersection of digital and physical spaces, focusing on how technologies like AI influence the way we reconstruct and express ourselves in the digital world. She is particularly interested in exploring how digital identity reflects, transforms, and distorts the essence of humanity, while simultaneously merging with and redefining the self.
She investigates the evolving relationship between humans and non-humans, especially between humans and AI, questioning how identity is reshaped through these interactions. Her work often highlights contradictions that arise from anthropocentric viewpoints, bringing the invisible into focus by imbuing it with new meaning and attributes.
Her projects primarily span web-based and virtual environments, as well as installation works, which bridge the gap between the virtual and the real, inviting audiences to reconsider the boundaries of identity in these spaces.
